Valley defense is better than expected however if their offense doesn’t start moving the ball it will be a long day for them

Is it too hard to maybe... you know... actually give Valley some damn credit instead of the "self inflicted wounds" BS. Those were FORCED turnovers by the defense.

We did something that even I thought was skeptical of doing which is neutralize the running game of Alcorn. Of course when you blow 2-3 coverage assignments en route to 6 TDs passes, you get what happened Saturday

I hate that Johnson (No. 27) got nicked up because he made our offense look completely different on Saturday when he was in.

Harper definitely makes that offense more deadly with his arm but Valley also made him cough it up a couple times. He needs to get that under control if Alcorn wants to host the SCG again

One thing you failed to realize or you forgot is that Harper is the backup QB, and the RB was the backup RB, which is probably the reason why no credit was given.

I'll give Valley some credit. They are definitely better up front than past years on both sides of the ball. I think this is why teams haven't been able to put up huge numbers on you guys.

In all honesty I have nothing against MVSU, but we must have viewed different games. The were no hard hits or strips that caused a turnover, just our players being lazy. Are you more competitive this year I will say sure you are. But even with the score at 21-13 I'm sure it felt like we were up by 2 - 3 touch downs. We did this with a number of players in their street clothes; Johnson, Waller and several OL out you should have some impact on the running game. As well you should be better with all thoseJUCO players and I hope you keep getting better. However, that game was never in the balance. You better get us next year because if not it may be a long time. Until you prove me different my philosophy remains the same. What your coach needs to do is play the red shirt freshman before he goes in the portal. That's a fact.
