I never been on the smack board and that wasn't smack. That's an honest observation ... every year I hope JSU has a good football team b/c it's good for the culture and been disappointed every year.

Just quoting what was said on here when I started a thread about utilizing on-campus resources (academic programs) to help coaches properly prepare and make better game day decisions. It's basic academics of understanding the game in its entirety that our coaches lack the most. It's almost like they copy other folks plays to prepare for a game, but when the team across the field changes up on them, our coaches are like a deer in a car's headlights. It's akin to dummies memorizing a fake multi-choice test, but come test day, they don't know what to do when they realize the real test is not the same as the fake multi-choice test they memorized.

Basically, coaches who can design plays based on the talent level of their players. In order for one to do what you are suggesting, one would have to know the game in its entirety. A lot of our coaches are just mimicking other coaches.

Coaches can’t play the game. I blame both the coaches and players. They had two weeks to prepare. Most teams don’t get that luxury playing against triple option teams. We embarrassed the SWAC. That was some sorry shit

The sad part, if we still had all the talent on our teams. We would still get beat by less-talented teams. Because, we don't make second-half adjustments, or implement the small things.

Actually, I blame our administrations who put together these incompetent search committees to find coaches. Like the old saying goes, "everything stinks from the top."
 
all that pee yellow & baby shit green them ksu fans gotta wear to the games..this victory was all worth it. Kentucky st got some of the ugliest colors of all hbcus lol! jsu gotta see that shit the rest of the weekend lol
