if not for the missed extra point, that forced them to go for 2...when they get to the 1 they can kick and tie it up. then a kick off return. didn't DHE say they had the best special teams in the country. he's getting the side eye right now about that.

Definitely have the best punter but kicker...
 
Like I said earlier... UAB wont win another game this year.... They hyped this qb up.... he looked HORRIBLE.... Tuskegee will play Bama State better than UAB did.

He’ll settle down and hopefully have the success he had last year. The miss PAT had an effect on the game but the returned KO was the biggest play the special team gave up. Our punter averaged more than 41 yards per kick. The staff came into the game believing our special team was one of our strongest units. I don’t think that changes after this game.

Hopefully this is an idea of what we'll see from the rest of the SWAC this weekend
 
In my opinion ASU was clearly the better team last night. They lost this game as we usually do against FCS opponents with similar talent on Special Teams, Coaching and no disciple. That was big on the pick 6 you get a roughing the passer (ball clearly gone), holding and show boating. However, ASU played a good game. AAMU may not be the favorite son in Alabama.
 



Great game ASU. My observations....the pick 6 that was called back due to 3 flags...BS call regarding the RTP.
 
On TV, that ASU crowd looked pretty damn hyped up. Good performance ASU. I saw many questionable play calling your sideline, but your players played UAB with no respect like a FCS is supposed to do.
