2019 Labor Day Classic Press Conference

Coach Dooley and staff aren’t fooled by this shenanifuckery. We all know sTu will bring its a-game Saturday.
Until we find someone to offset your recruiting in the Metroplex it will be an uphill battle for us. FYI, probably need to stay out of East Texas. Someone is spreading a rumor that you are not a Cowboy fan and that you are directly responsible for Zeke and Zak not signing new contracts. That is a hanging offense in them parts.

This was boring but I'm glad the LDC is back on the traditional Saturday.

Whenever the game is on a Sunday or in November I've always felt the attendance and the energy of the game suffered greatly ... the last enjoyable (we lost badly but still) LDC I been to was in 2015.

Go Tigers!

The primary reason the game was moved to Labor Day and the attendance is better is because of the state of the programs. At the beginning of the year optimism is at it’s Zenith. It has been along time since TSU & PV both have fielded good teams at the same time. When that happens, hopefully this game will move to later in the season.

Who is your starting QB? RB?

These last 2 years has also taken a toll on it. With Hurricane Harvey making it move and then the bad decision by our folks to move it last year. The best thing is for the 2 schools to come together and market it together to get the fans excited and back into coming to this game. There is no buzz this year about it even though it's back on Labor Day Weekend.

NONE! I don't know what's wrong with Houston, but this game seems like its gonna flop. I don't think that Battle of the Bands will do well either.

houston is a "flop" city full of "flopping" people so it stands to reason that it would continue to"flop" like it continues to descend in popularity and notoriety.

Even the southland folks named shsu/sfa mimicking what they saw w/ the LDC possibilities have now outpaced the LDC. Those folk started their marketing campaign for their botpw last w/e, literally. LDC? *crickets*

Thank God for north texas and the dfw metroplex/the "centex"/north Louisiana/southern Oklahoma/south-western Arkansas. smh

That's only because of Lone Star Sports & Entertainment does their game. If we partnered up with them it would be better too. They have lower prices on tickets and food for their game. These are the same folks that does the Advocare Texas Kickoff and the Texas Bowl.
