Big Ten hires first Black Commissioner of a Power 5 Conference!

It's nothing to get excited about people. Just imagine, if our commissioners had the same money and resources.
 
Why? Because we applaud progress? It’s a big deal that a Black man is a power 5 Commissioner. It’s crickets because the Big Ten did it. Had the SEC done this, mofos would be in here Roll tidings each other. Lol

So a brother getting a big time job is nothing to be excited about? Would we say that if one of our coaches got a Head job at a power 5 school? Or had this been our commish getting hired as the head Big Ten guy?

I guess the only black progress has to reside at the HBCU level only.

I get excited at the thought of black people owning, instead of, being a babysitter. Okay, Nike appoints a black person for President. But, guess, who is still the owner? Phil Knight, correct?

Everyone has a boss. I guess it means nothing that the GM/President of the Raptors is black either? By the way he got more power than our Commish. Bet you on that.

Dude still has power. More power than you give him credit for. By what you saying as criteria, majority of America has no power. White or Black. Everyone white don’t own these corporations. Hell some ain’t even owned by Americans. But being CEO is power. Regardless if you own the business or not.

Correct. A lot of companies in America are owned by foreigners. But, who are first to get the nice salary jobs????

Again, who is the owner of the Raptors? A black GM/President only has so much power.
 
I give up. Blacks should own everything on this earth. Being a CEO. We should turn them jobs down because we don’t own the business.

Maybe those type of jobs give you the income to be your own boss one day? I will take one of them millions of dollar a year jobs in a heartbeat. Because one thing for sure. That job has a golden parachute if they have to fire you or whatever. That Toronto GM ain’t ever going to have to worry about money again. Taking care of your family and helping others like us is power. And he has it. Wealth is power. And he is considered wealthy. Not everyone can be a billionaire. Dude got more power than a small business owner. More security as well.
 
I applaud token black for this hire. I hope he promotes more athletes majoring in health sciences.

Dude is not a token hire. Have you forgotten who sits in the White House? Ain’t no more hires just because you black. This administration not enforcing discrimination practices so these folks ain’t hiring for their do right by us shit. By the way it ain’t his job to promote majors for athletes. America don’t major in STEM majors. Not just the athletes. It’s a epidemic across this country.

So I assume you work for yourself. If not, all us that don’t work themselves are token hires if we work in Corporate America. Just saying.
 
Black folks are NEVER SATISFIED with stuff like this. But yet they wont demand schitt in their own local leaders...
