TxSu, how much of the bank did y'all break?

This straight from the link. Can you read .

Louisiana is the state with the best ratio (one NFL player per 76,837 people), followed by Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida and South Carolina.

and there is probably more people in Texas than all those states combined. Who cares about a per capita BS number.

Texas high school football HAS gotten soft though. Gone are the 90s when you had more smashmouth, defense oriented programs. Too many big money, spread oriented, pussified suburban schools have weakened Texas football and its reflected in the flagship programs on down.

Interesting viewpoint. Sounds like a good sociology project to me, talking about population dispersal due to socioeconomic factors, political factors, etc.

I think the Flagship school are missing out on the game changers.

Jalen Hurts, Kyler Murray,

The freshmen reciever Waddle at Alabama, etc.

Ohio State got quite a few Texas boys. JK Dobbins leading the way. And will have the number 1 WR from Texas Garrett Wilson coming in the next class.

Again, folks want us to recruit the same kids who play in college level facilities and they’ll hold you out until the final hour. Kid in another state will show you more love quicker.

Coaches only have 3 years to really win now so they can’t be caught in build and wait philosophy.

Too much spread. But ironically a suburban school in Katy has been pretty much smashmouth throughout the years and they've won the most in the Houston area. Cy Fair won state last year as a smashmouth type team. Marshall, Manvel, Shadow Creek, etc are spread wit all the speed they have.

Using that article per capita is just silly lol. No one cares about that. How much talent does the state produce overall yearly and it's not close. That's what matters. Cali, Texas, Florida, Georgia.

And DNA as Shadow Creek is Willowridge 2.0 as well as Marshall and Manvel. The south side genes run thick. Unfortunately only Marshall has a coach to reflect that talent pool and they have a strong HISD and Willowridge history

Shadow Creek seems to have some good coaching over there coupled with the talent.

Texas A&M didn't miss out on Murray. He played there and got ran off by Sumlin's crazy azz.
Spavital is why he left. Should have signed with Texas. AM was loade at QB.

Even at that if you look at the number of game changers that have played college football outside of the State my point is stil valid.

Who is Aldine 2.0? :(
