Grambling, Alcorn, and who?
Stop being messy. PV has spent a lot of money too.
Not that much as compared to what stu has been paying.

Louisiana is #1 per capita of producing NFL players. How is recruiting Texas overrated when Texas puts out far more blue chips players than Louisiana? Texas put out more than 3 times the amount of blue chip players than Louisiana lol. I mean if you're just not getting the good players thats one thing but Texas is the #3 state in the country for high school players only behind Florida and California. That makes absolutely no sense at all.
See how you Rolled in here and JUST DRY LIED?Louisiana is #1 per capita of producing NFL players.
No idea where they are going with these salaries but, TSU does have options. If they want to go cost effective TSU has plenty of experienced coaches to choose from. Although, the previous O.C & D.C. were making 150K each. Yes we were taken to the cleaners no need to reopen those wounds. How much do you guys think the assistants will make there. Living in Houston won’t be cheap but if you can pay a good staff you will win. I know they have deep pockets but you have to pay your assistants as well.
again, we're getting the pickings after the Power 5, Group of 5 (AAC, CUSA, Sun Belt), Southland, JUCO in some cases, etc. I've seen too many times a New Mexico State comes in and offers at the last minute for a kid that's a SWAC player. Waste of recruiting time.
Go to Louisiana, Mississippi, get a baller with a chip on his shoulder and win some games. You got to have a good out of state mix. Recruiting Texas heavily has only 1 SWAC title in 50+ years so obviously there's something
they don't get what they used to get from Texas. Those days are gone.
I reached out to some SWAC folks a few months back about a kid that had scholarship offers from N.M.St, San Jose St, and a few other West Coast schools. He grew up in Cali but his family moved to TX just before his Sr year started. He played Sr. year at Plano, wanted to stay and play regional as his family is going through some things.again, we're getting the pickings after the Power 5, Group of 5 (AAC, CUSA, Sun Belt), Southland, JUCO in some cases, etc. I've seen too many times a New Mexico State comes in and offers at the last minute for a kid that's a SWAC player. Louisiana is a respectable #2 on the list. But you know this since you posted the link.
You did look at it before you posted it didn't you?
Right from the link YOU posted...
The District of Columbia, with one NFL player for every 54,702 residents, has the most NFL players per capita. No. 2 is Louisiana (one in 76,837) .. No. 3 is Georgia (one in 78,761).
This per capita argument is ridiculous when it comes to judging quality of football players. Population interest changes as population demographics change. TX probably has more international residents who have little interest in football than LA has residents.
This straight from the link. Can you read .See how you Rolled in here and JUST DRY LIED?
