METAIRIE, La. -- Dez Bryant is back in the NFL, and he is joining one of the league's top Super Bowl contenders.

The former Dallas Cowboys receiver has agreed to a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints, a source confirmed to ESPN's Adam Schefter Wednesday. It was not immediately known how much Bryant will make.

Sources told Schefter that Bryant is comfortable proving what he can do for a contending team this season before becoming a free agent again.
 



The Cowboy's leadership sucks from the top down. Dez is no longer a Cowboy simply for calling out the B.S. and showing his frustration with the said B.S. They said Dez was not Dak friendly. Now we should all see it wasn't Dez. What that Dak do?

Actually we do in a "what if" type of scenario...imagine if Ted Ginn was still healthy.

Well they are basing it off rings to be honest. No ring no glory. It's kinda like Dallas and San Francisco....people label them as great franchises because of their championships. Yet, the last time Dallas or San Fran won a Superbowl was in 1995 and 1994.

I think Dez understands that NOLA offense utilizes a LARGE NUMBER of offensive weapons and that he will not always be the first option.

He got cut. Simple as that. NOLA's is only anchored by Drew Brees and everyone is part of the system. I pray Dez doesn't act a damn monkey because truth be told he is playing with one of the best QBs to play the game....something Dez has never done.

The Adrian Peterson situation was entirely different. Brees spreads the ball around to his WR’s. Nobody knew that Kamara would have the type of impact that he ended up having so that left Peterson as the odd man out.
