Don't worry @Bewildered. Ya'll have a Howard graduate training ya'll QB. Was he there when you were at Howard??? For some strange reason, the kid seemed a lot more talented last season than this season.
I still remember one of my co-workers in Los Angeles who graduated from Long Beach State telling me when he was an engineering student there, they were asked to survey the school's football practice field in order to put something else in its place. He said a few players were there practicing on the field at the time and they were pissed with them knowing that the school had placed the final death nail in the coffin for Long Beath State's football program. I always wondered was Jay 'Sky' Walker one of those pissed off players before tranferring to Howard. I think they might have placed soccer fields in its place.

They're there. They stopped Morton from running... he isn't a pocket passer so he tries to read and force throws... with that everything else became predictable and much easier to stop. Tucker, Wallace and a number of others have the talent but they aren't going to pull a TD out of their ass regardless of coaching competency.

Yea on top of the coaching (or hell maybe that's it) something got to those guys and killed the fire they were playing with. I thought they just came out of the bye week flat after GSU but it's obviously way more than that.

PV did battle back after a lackluster first half. They waited too late to start competing.
And they DO have talent.
Clock management by their coach in the last three minutes didn't help none either.
I was there years prior to him doing his thing. You’re confusing our past QBs. The anticipated starter quit pre-season. This current was 3rd str last fall.

What can you tell me about the downward spiral? Did you all lose players to injuries? Are you all playing with players that aren't at 100%? What happen in the bye week leading up to the S.U. match-up?

His MEAC and Howard bias oozes from his eyes and ears. Guy is mediocre, at best, as a color analyst. I realize that HBCU sports is a different animal from other collegiate football experiences, but Walker is incapable of being objective. I appreciate him being a former player and alum of an HBCU, but he sucks!
