From the wording, it sounds like Hughes decided to walk away after being told he wasn't being brought back next year. Regardless, when it's time it's time, and Hughes was clearly in over his head. Also, if my understanding of the tiebreakers is correct, can't JSU win its division by winning out? I'm not here to argue for or against whether they can do it, but if you're of the belief the team as constructed is good enough to do so, I can see why you'd make a move now.
