2018 Swac Football Attendance - Week 8

Ark-Pine Bluff at Mississippi Valley St
Attendance: 0 (it's what they have in the box score)

Grambling at Alcorn St
Attendance: 10610

North Alabama at Jackson St
Attendance: 19750

Texas Southern at Southern
Attendance: 17105
 



Could haven better however this new ticket system Alcorn has this year I know they not scanning all those tickets. Do other schools have that ticket system now? It’s like how you get tickets at scg In Houston.
 
And that’s why I get season tickets also. I have already gave Alcorn my money. It can be hurricane Katrina and I will still be out there cheering them on. I was very disappointed on both fan bases yesterday.

The State fair is a big deal & it’s an honor to be invited to play in the cotton bowl during the SF.
showing up with 450 fans is unacceptable.
The weather was beautiful here on Saturday. Perfect football weather for teams & fans. This was an opportunity to show up & make a statement so people will take your program & fans serious. We’re a football city where Attendance matters.

Its kinda sad. I honestly feel like it’s more txsu fans in Dallas during state fair classic weekends than it was for the stair fair showdown.

The tickets are being scanned. JSU new AD just changed the price plus up to the age of 18 was free for this game. That was a very smart move. Plus folk shy away when rain is mentioned even though it did not rain.

That was one Texas Sorry showing...hard to blame them.
 
My guesstimate was that it was probably over 5000 at Homecoming. Home side was packed out and forced overflow to the visitors side. UAPB brought about what I thought they would bring (not a huge number but more than most SWAC teams due to proximity)

So the zero attendance number was wrong? LOL!

See my other post. The seating chart on tsu's side by Tuesday showed only endzone tixs remained. Somebody bought tixs and didnt show. The 450 fans you quoted is a BIG lie. I was there.....

Congrats to JSU with those attendance numbers.

Errrrr so clearly the seating chart was WRONG!! Those photos of the TSU side are SAD SAD SAD!!
I just figured a few more thousand would show up for Dallas

I was told the sTu folks were huddled in the shade under the over hang. Not many braved the sun I am told. I am not saying we had more fans there than our opponent but there was a good number of us there.

Now go and find you some business!

I hope y’all get a home stadium so students can fill out y’all’s attendance more.
