Jsu OC Hal Mumme resigns

Don't know how many D1 schools would have went for that part-time OC set-up anyway.

He couldn't even get Belhaven to win with it and gave up when the switch was made to the better QB

He still had a daily radio show at a local radio station
That radio show was very revealing into the fiber of the man. I only listened occasionally, if in the car during that time of day, and I heard him say some things.....nothing blatant or outright overt, but when you have lived in the South as a Black Man for forty plus years, you know one when you hear/see one.

Oh trust me I know having lived in Mississippi almost all of my life. That's why I was interested in how that hire would work and everything surrounding it.

The only coach that would make that hire is the one in Jackson.

So when does his show come on. I’m sure he will have some interesting things to say.

JSU should target Odums for their next head coach. He would turn that program around on day one. Odums is one hell of a recruiter, a hard worker and a man of faith.

Y'all willing to even trade with JSU?

Yes, jsu needs someone to restore their tradition immediately. The SWAC isn't right unless jsu is at least vying for championships. Odums would put them back on the map immediately. Look at what he did immediately after Stump was fired. JSU needs to offer him a little more money than S.U. (which isn't nearly as much as Fobbs & Hayes are getting) which would be a pay raise and get back in the game.
