ATF names suspect in theft of 400 guns from Memphis UPS location

Let's be honest and realistic, 5K to come forward with information is not enough money. Depending on what was stolen, the average pistol costs more than $250 and in most cases that is for a used pistol. It still depends on the caliber and manufacture.

Those dudes were dummies. This is not TV. What they should have done was get a very small amount over time. UPS insures for shipping error and shipping loss but losing 400 guns is too much. Losing 2 or 3 yes. Also, depending on how they are packaged. Losing one package is a bit acceptable.

UPS insures for $100 at no charge. Anything over and you have to pay. I am not certain how much more but there is a cost if you want to insure for more than they offer automatically.

They should've known better. I know, they were a couple of amateurs. They were probably better off, robbing a bank. They will not be seeing the streets for while.

They should get life. They showed they have no love for the black community by trying to dump weapons to harm other black people. Don't drop the soap bytches.

How do we know that those dudes are not pawns for someone else. I keep hearing over and over again about how in some cities, that guns are being dropped off at various places where our people reside and people are just picking them up. Haven't you guys been hearing this for a minute as well? Where there is smoke there is fire right? If this is not true, where are these guns coming from?

I am saying, maybe there was more in on it and those dudes were the ones that got caught. The cheap $$$ reward for info is merely a cover up for whomever is really responsible?

Just one man's questions, thoughts, and theories....

Criminals are selfish narcissistic individuals and care for no one regardless or race, religion or ethnic origin.

I remember when I first moved to Memphis, I was fresh out of grad school. I was so naïve and I didn't know any better. But on any corner on any given day, peeps would be selling the latest Nike shoes for as low as $20. I didn't think to ask where it came from or consider that I could have easily been arrested if there was a bust because I would indeed learn that peeps were getting them from various sources in illegal ways. But I was looking fly though...

Man, they drop everything bad off in the black community. We are america's Guinea Pig. Look at our food and educational choices. Oh, those guns were going to nearest local inner-city. If only black males would see the bigger picture.

They walked into a easy trap. Whenever something is that easy. It's not a good picture.

Born and raised in the city and I'm back living here. I was actually shocked it made the news. Living in the distribution hub of the US, this happens every day.
