Valley shut us down on goal line

The "best" thing that came out of this game (other than actually scoring this year) is that we will go into a bye week to see if Dancy will pull the trigger and go to Dejerric Bryant or not. With the OL issues still a thing, having a mobile QB definitely had us looking better in the 2nd half. All those first half INTs deflated the team and the crowd. The Chambers TD was a temporary boost only for Alcorn to drive back down the field and score a TD.

The DL will be a problem all year as far as stopping anyone from running so putting points on the board will be a premium

You need a lot more parts than just a mobile QB. You need to run the ball more and in my opinion until you can do that it will not matter who is at QB. Giving up the points that you have can the offense really score enough?

I won't expect you to say too much of any positive about Valley because you are usually one of the people clucking about Valley and UAPB needing to be kicked out of the SWAC. If you actually watched the game, Valley did run the ball in the 2nd half to actually finish game with positive rushing yards despite all the sacks in the first half.

ATLBrave - No. Noah Johnson was still in the game in the 4th quarter and scored his last TD on a QB keeper. The starting WRs were in the game in the 4th quarter as well. The only person that was pulled (no pun) was Simmons who appeared to have tweaked something at the end of the 3rd quarter.

You are an outright lie because I have never downed Valley or UAPB that either no longer needed to be part of this conference and I will not stand by with you saying I did that. I’m going to give you my opinion on your comments and I’ll say it again more parts are needed than just a mobile QB. So please don’t say to me that I have made fun on Valley because I have a passion for all HBCUs. Don’t confuse me with someone else because if are state supported we all are just a vote away so I know the importance and values of our HBCUs. Quit being so self righteous as if you don’t provide opinions on other programs. And by the way according to the box score, you had a total of 99 yards rushing excluding the loss yardage of 77. If you call 99 yards rushing the ball well......

I say kick Valley out of the SWAC. They will have a home in the SIAC....LOL (MVSU is a great school and I don't think anybody wants them to close their doors over a football program...lol)

JROCK I had several cousins that played with me in school offered scholarships to sign with MVSU to play football and I take exception to in_the_662 implying I said Valley was not equipped not to be in the SWAC.

I understand....662 will do that in a heart beat. LOL That's why a lot of times, I just don't reply to what he is saying. Sometimes he make sense and other times he make stuff up and run with it. LOL

Then he wants to bring UAPB into the mix, heck they kicked our butts on the reservation just two years ago. I bet you one thing nobody feels sorry for you on this board during football season. I’m hopeful it’s all in good fun but don’t come at me personally.

The second string did get in. Valley was never a threat....
