They're affiliated with southern, Grambling and the state of Louisiana, which is what the thread is about.

JSU has always respected what Eddie did for Grambling's program and Fobbs learned under Robinson's tutelage.
I respect what Pete did at southern. It's just not proper the way yall treated the man by not having his statue outside of Mumford. Heck, all he did was bring to southern an outright SWAC title after 32 loong years....yes 32. He deserves a statue immediately instead of yall getting extra seats yall will never use, until a certain school comes to town.

Dude forreal calm down. Arnett William Mumford is the best coach in Southern history. Coach Pete hadn't been to long gone stop coaching. I appreciate your concern but Coach Pete is getting a classic game this season, thats a start. But like yall always do yall make excuses for Grambling accept when it comes to y'all. But when WE face Grambling, yall j st people make it personal against us. Smh, and most people that represent Grambling I know outside these site dont think highly of j st. Smh

You don't know many Grambling folks then cause they love coming to Jackson and JSU folks love going to Grambling and on top of that, one should never trust a Jag to speak for a Tiger any how.

That's good that southern's FINALLY doing something for the man who ended that 32 year drought.
And speaking of Mumford, you weren't even born or saw the man coach in person, so how would you know? You're only going by what you were told.

You didn't win it last year or year before that. Then Odoms couldn't beat that white coach at Alcorn for nothing. It's something about white coaches that scares the hell out of Odoms.
He's something like 0-11 against white coaches and counting. That's unbelievable.
