Neiko Hollins QB Transfers from PV

How do you know?
For the same reason you don't know. This story is just now breaking the surface.

“The good thing about the position is that at some point in time all three guys have started a game here and have played a significant amount,” Dooley said. “That gives us a lot of experience in a key position. Throughout the spring, each guy showed a lot of promise, which is good for competition. Right now, no one is leading the pack, but I do expect to name a starting quarterback early in fall camp. I want whomever the guy is to be able to lead. Although one player will be named the starter, it’s really not a set in stone thing, because there’s competition every day.

Lavell has shown a lot of promise. He got better throughout the 15 days of spring practice. We have another returning guy in Neiko that made the transition in our offensive scheme and got better each day. Jalen showed a lot of promise as well and got better throughout the spring. They all have the physical tools. It’s just a matter of who is going to put it together, pick up the offense, and move the team.” - HC Eric Dooley

Plain as mud. :D

again..you're wrong....
our starting QB hasn't been decided...you outsiders assumed he was our starter. ..try again.

My bad brutha. Welp, I can’t wait to see if Lavell or Jalen are going show everyone that they were really going to be named starter over Hollins.

He wasn’t the starter.

I gotcha Sigma. But you know I get inside stuff from time to time. Looking forward to see what happens bro.

Lavell and Jalen aren’t our only options u outsider....

Ummm, I know. Although Rice sucked last year, I don’t see PV showing much against them. I believe the NCCU game will answer more questions for the SWAC.

rice university will show everyone what's what. We're going in there to win this game, not just "compete" and get a decent payday.

If we have a coaching staff that's going into the rice game to experiment and try out some shit, we STILL have the wrong coaching staff and they need to go. Quickly.

I am one who hates prostitution games, so I am with you on coming out to win vs Rice. However, the “new personnel” factor doesn’t usually line up in the FCS team’s favor in these match ups. In my opinion, I think most folks will be able to make a better assessment of the Panthers after facing on of the best FCS programs on their schedule early.

Hollins put up some respectable numbers. I really thought PV was about to return to the 2009 look even though Dooley is about to enter his first year. I hope the new starter puts it on Rice.

IMHO, it was a given that the new staff would enter and "trim the fat," so to speak, from the athletic program. One has to take care of business in the classroom, in the weight room, and on the field of play if one purports to be a football playing panther. There are way too many eyes watching the athletics dept's performance and there is accountability in place (finally). We wish Mr Hollins well in his future goals.
