Just saw “Uncle Drew.” For those of us who are 50+ y/o ballers and still competively active, you will love it from start to finish. I plan to see it again this upcoming Saturday.

It’s a doggone shame how we “old man” do these young very low IQ boys on the court lol :D . kekekekekekekekekekekekekekeke “hold my nutz... I get buckets...” It all sounds so... familiar lol.

@Bewildered ... so let me get this right...all the critics say "DO NOT" go and see this movie because it is predictable, slow and that Tiffany Haddish is underused, but,
You on the other hand say..."GO SEE IT"???....Ok, ordering my tickets now....LOL. I don't know how long ago it was that I learned, if "they" say "don't go", I know for sure, that I need to go...LOL

The critics would be better off saying; "We don't like black movies, we don't really watch them, and so you shouldn't go see them"!

+1. Precisely.

The critics loved that funky assed sorry jurrasic world assed bullshit movie. "here lil' white girl... lez me and you just lay in bed togetha' and watch 2 raptors fight each other no more than 2-3 feet away from us. We'll just hold each other comfortably and watch all the action for 5 minutes and not think of running at all." Crazy. smh

I liked Uncle Drew because I identified w/ it. It's a part of my own culture, unlike incredibles 2 and jurassic world.

This was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a while. The Baptism had me rolling! When they took that shot at Chris Webbe,r AKA Preacher, I almost feel on the floor!

It is a fun summer movie. Lots of references like Webber and the timeout. Not a tiffany haddish fan so I was good with her limited role.

When Shaq said "pass da' ball KOBEEEEEEE!!!!" man I got unhinged LMAO!!!!! Along w/ the references to "NO TIMEOUTS" to the preacha' man (Chris Webber) in the last game LMAO!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Great messages were sent throughout the movie and oddly a LOT of what was conveyed is what I've preached for a loooooong time to varying youth in my environments whenever I balled with and against them.

I get decently tickled now since I've hit the 50s and still ball. When I walk up to any court, the younger guys who know me say what I would typically say... "WHAT WANTS DIS 52 year old work?!" I smile and then follow that up w/ a "Y'ALL YOUNGSTAs don't want dis problem!" :D

We saw it last night and enjoyed it.

The comparison of the Isley Brothers song & Biggie's sample of it was good. He had no clue about it.
