Warriors in 5.Cavs in 7....
Can't believe they reversed that charge call. Clearly Bron was in legal guarding position and set
The only reason the play was reviewed because the officials had to determine whether LeBron was outside the restricted area. But it was the right call. LeBron was moving as Durant was crashing into him.
The call was the right one. It was a blocking foul. HOWEVER, you don't reverse that call once it's made. The only reason the play was reviewed because the officials had to determine whether LeBron was outside the restricted area. LeBron right foot was clearly still moving which shows he hadn't established legal position yet
I disagree, Bron was set in legal guarding position before Durant crashed into dude. Of course you're going to move when you come into contact with a player.
Bron was already at the spot. Moving is taking into consideration when the player is moving to get to the spot to take the charge. If the player is at the spot, he can move left or right, and back to take the charge. When officials say moving, they are talking about if the player was moving to get into position before the charge takes place. You don't have to be completely still to take a charge, long as you're in legal guarding position and at the spot before the offensive player, that's a charge.
Bron was already at the spot which he is entitled to have. Durant can't crash down on dude. Wrong call in my opinion.
LeBron was turning to the side as Durant approached him, which didn't appear to be legal guarding position.

The replay rules allow for the reversal. Especially when one official has a block and the other has a charge. The call was the right one. It was a blocking foul. HOWEVER, you don't reverse that call once it's made.
So let me ask you this, since you're on that the player has to be stationary.
How does one get charges outside of the paint when the ball-handler is moving, dribbling the ball? The defender guarding the PG/ball-handler is moving too right?
The defender gets the charge because he beats that ball-handler to that spot. You can't be stationary guarding a ball-handler out in the perimeter
Bron beat KD to the spot and was in legal guarding position
Yes both feet have to be on the ground but BOTH to have be established in a SET position. You can't be set if you are still moving. He was clearly sliding his right foot.Legal guarding position is 2 feet on the ground, facing the offensive player. LB clearly has 2 feet on the ground and is facing Durant before Durant even gets to that spot.
Again, you can turn your body to take the charge. Ppl think you have to take the charge in the chest when it's clearly not the case. LB was in legal guarding position by the rules.
Even Stan Van Gundy stated he was in legal guarding position Lol.
