The Boy Scouts are changing their name after 108 years


I have not turned in my Eagle Scout Medal but I have contemplated it. I cannot continue to support this organization.

I struggle with it daily. Last year was final year going to Camp TL James. As I tell people becoming an Eagle especially when you are black is a complicated task. Now the name changes and I'm simply not with it.
 
So, what will happen to the Girl Scouts now? I blame y'all for letting girls play with the boys in sports/

My Scout Master (RIP) was a Deacon at my home church and lived in my neighborhood. He started one the first Black lead scout troops in Baldwin Co. AL. My troop (233) had the first Black Eagle Scout recipient from a all black troop. He made sure that we represented ourselves with class and knowledge at jamborees and all scouting events. The Mobile Area council scouts would serve as ushers during the Senior Bowl. One year my cousin and I thought we were to cool to wear our uniforms to the game he told us to go home to change into our scout uniforms or don't come back to any meetings. One of my fondest memories is Philmount, 12 days of intense back trail mountain hiking that we never would have had the chance to experience without him. His motto " sticktoitness" resonates with me to this day. All of his Eagle Scouts went to college. I am the man that I am today because of the Brotherhood of Scouting

Ok, so No, girls should not be allowed into the BSA.
Didn't the whole reason they started the GSA was the that BSA was gender exclusive?
Now having said that, I get tired of seeing comments on other social media, blaming Democrats, progressives, or any other non Conservative group.
I believe this is being done to increase the BSA or "Scouts of America" numbers. The BSA's numbers of been dwindling for a while now, so this is a move to get those numbers back up.

No sir.....this debate has been going on for a while and the folks who support "Gender Neutrality" are to blame. This is why so many kids are confused when it comes to sexuality. Then you have folks wanting to call this confusion an illness or mental disability.

I knew this was coming when Wal-Mart changed the way they had toys. There used to be a boys section and a girls section. Not anymore.
