Inside the first nfl owners meeting

As the witness list of NFL powerbrokers continues to swell in the Colin Kaepernick grievance, one question will come into focus in the coming weeks: How unpleasant could attorney Mark Geragos make this process for the league’s fraternity of wealthy elites?

He's trying to spin it some more...

Bob McNair on inmates in prison comment: “The main thing I regret is apologizing”

Texans owner Bob McNair is not sorry he said the NFL was at risk of having the “inmates running the prison” last year. He is sorry for apologizing for that comment.

McNair told the Wall Street Journal that he doesn’t think he did anything wrong and doesn’t think he should have been pressured into saying he was sorry.

This does not surprise me. I never thought his apology was sincere anyway.

100% with cha bruh! 99.5% of old non-Jewish white men have strong racist beliefs and that's just how it is. It doesn't mean they can't tolerate us but it does mean they won't respect us in the manner in which they should. I avoid them as much as I can.

So, who's boycotting?

Well, I can't "boycott", because I have never liked the Texans anyway. I have never been to a Texans game, or watched a Texans game on TV. I don't own any Texans paraphernalia and have no intention of buying any even before all of this started.

I still have some Houston Oilers Luv You Blue stuff, that some of my friends say I should throw away. LOL!!!!!

The slaves will do nothing but run the ball like they're told.

Yes that's true. But CEE, I don't think the NFL is any different than any other job (they just pay more) in which you work for someone else. Sometimes you have to bite your tongue, and keep it moving. Look, I'm just keeping it real. NFL players, like the rest of us, have bills to pay. Mouths to feed (some times 9 different mouths by 9 different women. I know, whose fault is that, right). Those child support payments can be brutal. If football is all they know, then what are they to do? Lets put ourselves in their place, what would we do? Hey, I am just saying......

.......I would not say anything, but I would screw up his season

That thought crossed my mind too. But what about those incentive clauses in these players contracts. If the season do not go well, there will probably be no bonuses. Look, I am just pointing out the difficult situation the players are in.

Those people that had to ride the buses in Montgomery did also. Those folks who sat at the lunch counters did too. So did those who crossed the bridge in Selma. Many people said the photographer who was an FBI informant that took pictures and gave info on Dr. King and the civil Rights movement had kids to feed so he did what he had to do by telling everything on Dr. King to get money to feed his family. Guess it depends on what side of history you wanna be on.

What baby mamas JJ Watt got? None. He's the face of the franchise and one of the faces of the NFL. He, not black players, should be speaking out against McNair. But again, white athletes are allowed to exist in this place of not really having to say or do anything regarding social issues. It's always all on the black athletes. It can't be that way.
