I'm pushing y'all to do MORE because they are doing MORE TO YOU. I haven't said y'all are allowing it...but whatever you are doing isn't very visible or widespread. The only widespread message is one of how to not provoke the police versus what are we doing to demand a difference. We don't have time to wait until they will take the time to listen.

Oh we are suppose to broadcast what we do? I am sorry the media doesn't want to talk about what black men are doing to in and out of the community. Because it doesn't FIT some agenda or they want to cherry pick who gets to be showcased.
REAL Black men are not fighting to get on camera to brag about what they do. They just go out and do it. Don't tell black men that they need to do more when a lot of time the person STANDING in the way is a BLACK woman.
You want us to do more GET THE HELL OUT OF OUR WAY and don't cry when it doesn't fit some agenda.

Marching does WHAT? Bragging about you voted for Hilary did WHAT? Yelling to disband police and telling white folks to GIVE their stuff to black folks does WHAT? Crying victim all day long does WHAT?

When does PERSONAL accountability come to play? Screw that when doe LOGIC come into play? If I don't want cops in my community-I STOP giving them a reason to be there.
When do we talk to our black people about getting along with each other or learning to WALK AWAY from a relationship?

When do we talk about dealing with these WARRANTS for arrest so many black males have-that end up getting them KILLED like it did one of my students. He spend 7 out the last 11 months of his life in jail and still had warrants the say he got chased by the cops and crashed into a pole and went sailing. Leaving behind 2 little girls with a 45 year old granny.

Feminism won't let you deal with that. Black feminism preaches victim hood and look at me-all the time. That is what folks take issue with it.

What Black women don’t understand is white feminists - like white women in general - are white first. They are “fighting” for women’s rights, but within the framework of white supremacy. If they have to choose between the two, they will always choose white supremacy.

But, Black feminists need an enemy. And we’re the closest target. Their arguments are often outrageous, illogical, and venemous. However, they are ineffective and unproductive.

Because, what white women know, the system is most important. All of this ranting, raving, and anger toward your own men and a generic “patriarchy” is wasted energy. Screaming at the wind.

The enemy of all Black people is injustice. The system. Black feminists need to understand that our enemy (injustice) AND our solution (justice) ... is the same. For all of us.

Which would mean being opposed to white feminists also.

Feminism - particularly Black feminism - is a scourge.

It has weakened the foundations of Western society where I happen to live. Most egregious, Black feminism is gleefully doing its damndest to rip the heart out of the Black community. Destroy the Black family - and other institutions - through attacking Black men. It’s a dread evil that seems to be straight out of the White Supremacy Handbook.

I will not ever - EVER - apologize for opposing it in the harshest terms.

I do not hate women. God gave them to us as a helpmeet. They have value and a role. Were specifically created to make life better for everyone ... and everything.

However, women are not men. Are not the same as men. Are not equal to men.

This idea that women can “become equal” to men by fighting men is a gross falsehood. A perversion of the natural order of things.

And it’s particularly distressing when women of an underclass think they can gain some advantage by fighting men of that same underclass. When both are suffering the same oppression from the same oppressor.

The idea is so toxic that it’s mind-boggling any reasonable person could be a proponent of it. Yet, we have thousands of Black women who are ardently and proudly on this mission against their own. And thus themselves.

When we were clearly designed to work TOGETHER. To work WITH each other. To work FOR each other.

I do not merely pay lip service to traditional marriage.

I cannot control what other men do. I only know what I’ve done.

I grew up in a traditional marriage. I married a Black woman - while still in college. I was married to her long before we even considered bringing a child into this world. Actually, when we did conceive, it was a surprise. But it didn’t matter because we had done things the right way. My brothers and cousins are in traditional marriages. Many of my friends are in traditional marriages.

Not only that, but I know many men who would like to be in traditional marriages if they could find a suitable woman. But, Black women choose thugs and gangbangers over them. Wonder why they are not treated right. Then, when they are old and used up, get bitter and become “Black feminists”. Directing their anger and bitterness toward Black men when their lousy lives are really the result of their own lousy choices.

And, furthermore, MOST OF THE BLACK MEN ON THIS SITE ARE IN TRADITIONAL MARRIAGES. Most of the regular posters. Traditional marriages.

It’s not true that Black men don’t support Black women. We don’t support Black women who hold certain ideas and attitudes. Namely Black women whose ideas and behavior is detrimental to the Black community. We know that those women “are only good for one thing”.

If Black feminists are going to be mad, they should be mad at themselves for putting themselves in that category. Direct their misguided rage where it rightfully should be guided.

When I hear CT saying black men are not doing enough I take that shit personal. The reason is I don't look to be in the newspaper for going to prisons every Sunday at 7 am. Then again on Tueday evenings. I don't get or want accolades for talking with persons of color of all ages who are HIV positive especially black college age children. Nor do I want accolades for restructuring my entire foundation to not simply focus on HIV but Black Men's Health which includes mental illness.

What's sad is I told a black lady that she could not serve on the board for my foundation and she started bad mouthing me saying I was a chauvinist and that I did not believe in women leading.

That is a blanket statement, and feeds into the lie that Black Feminism is built on. Like SU said, there are plenty of brothers that are in traditional marriages. A family of 2: The man is paying after care, before care, school tuition, school uniforms, shoes, school activities, band fees, lunch meals. That's coming out of the man's paycheck.

The kids have to buy regular clothes, church clothes and shoes, etc, That's coming outta of the man's paycheck.

The man has to pay car notes, insurance, with 2 kids, that wife of his, aint riding around in a Honda Civic, more so a SUV, so he has to pay the note on that and insurance, and gas that big bih up, and also pay the note on his truck and insurance.

Just those bills alone is eating his paycheck, What about the kid's dental, eye, regular insurance, He's carrying them and the wife on his insurance. That's eating up his paycheck.
