HBCU 2018 Spring Football: What you wanna see?

Journalist

Listen up maggots! And that's an order!
Hey everyone,

What are some things you want to see sorted out by the end of your respective school's spring practice?

Any interesting position battles you think will be solved by the end? Any new transfers you want to see in live action? New coaching philosophies?

@Bewildered just wanna let you know. I'm leaving work now and heading to Buc-ees near PV so I can get my Beaver Nuggets for my PV stakeout. We got our good eyes on y'all in Waller County.

Now, how you gonna' watch us when you already know that I'm traveling to RedStick to watch the spr' game in a few? lol I'll have a report ready to go once I get back. :D

I'm not in to Spring football games. Living in Grambling I want to see in July and August at 6:30 am football players jogging and working out and focused on endurance.

How bout this ... stop by Billy's Boudin at the Scott exit on your way in ... enjoy some South Louisiana goodness before you get to Scotlandville. Once you're there, go behind the campus to The Blue Store and get some wings before you go kick it with the dudes under the trees watching spring practice.

C'mon mane... we ain't had spring practice since Obama was trying to push Obamacare through ... let us have some fun with this LOL

All I want to see is a long list of Power 5 transfers between now and August LOL

For Bama State, I’ll be looking for improvement in the passing game and who will be the QB that can get the job done. Also, I will be interested to see how the new coaching staff meshed with Eley’s philosophy and how effective the new conditioning regiments are working.

Same here plus I want to see improvements from the OL and to see how the new kickers perform.

Starting RBs are still in high school and most of the OL are still at their JUCOs so we won't see the full offense until summer camp. I wanna see what the new OC will do with the QBs since we will be more balanced. My bet is still on Betts to start since dual threat QBs are almost a necessity these days in the SWAC and I think the style of the new OC favors what he does

We just wrapped up spring. I saw improvement from the OL, mainly due to new blocking schemes that take advantage of their strengths. Was refreshing to see us running smashmouth elements on offense again.

Speak on it bruh.

SU hasn’t had a spring practice for a while and still dominated annually. That speaks volumes towards the caliber and quality of recruits AND the coaching staff to overcome those odds.
