2018 Meac/swac Challenge

Chick Fil A game probably had those hotels locked down months ago. Plus if you're smart youd just catch marta from the airport or College Park to Georgia State station and avoid driving at all.
It makes plenty of sense when most of the hotels in the downtown and midtown areas are already sold out or $300 plus per night. The airport is only a 10-15 minute drive to the GSU stadium.....

Good 411. Appreciate it.

Ain’t no hotels in downtown ATL selling out. NBA ALL Star weekend didn’t sell out Atlanta hotels what make you think Labor Day weekend is? Atlanta hosted the Olympics and built TOO MANY hotels . So they complete for prices. I can get a room at the Hilton downtown ATK for 115 a night . SEC Champuonship game .. i got one day of for 125. That’s why i prefer ATL over New Orleans . It’s too many hotels so u don’t sorry about gouging .

you're delusional if you think hotels aren't sold out in downtown ATL during labor day weekend. go to Hilton, Marriott and Hyatt and tell me what prices you see...Most are sold out as I stated. clearly you don't know how big Labor Day weekend is in ATL. You have six events (minimum) going on that weekend in the city. You're sitting here trying to the quote what you got for the SEC championship game... Labor Day weekend in ATL is way bigger than that game.....I just recently moved from atl after 10 years so I know how big that weekend is for the city.

Ga Tech vs. Alcorn
Washington vs. Auburn - Chick fil la kick off
NCCU vs. PVAMU
Dragon Con - which draws thousands from across the country
Black Gay Pride - which draws thousands from across the country
Ludacris Weekend - which draws thousands

Downtown and Midtown hotels DO and ARE selling out!

Skrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... say what nah?! Black gay pride what that weekend? WTF?!

:-O Wait a dayamed minute now!

It's all in one's preference. Majority of Atlanta hotels are spread throughout its metro area, whereas majority of New Orleans hotels are all within a 1 to 2 mile radius of New Orleans Central Business District (CBD) and French Quarter. Plus, there is a lot more to do in the New Orleans CBD and French Quarter, which has plenty of eateries and entertainment. This is why the NFL and NBA like New Orleans. Unlike most cities with professional sport teams, fans have to drive a great distance to get to most places, which means spending more money on transportation, whereas in New Orleans, most people just walk to wherever they have to go. And the amount of fun one can have in New Orleans is priceless compared to most places.

So HBCU fans can watch Alcorn get "wrecked" (pun intended...lol) and then stay over to see PV get toasted in the ATL heat.

I know you and a few others want PVAMU and Alcorn St to lose badly. We'll do our best to prove you natural haters wrong.

What do I gain from you two losing. Now Alcorn dont stand a chance. The last time they played GaTech, we had to call the dogs off in the first quarter...lol

Best of luck to PV tho.

Bro, let me remind you of something. I have NO respect for PV or Alcorn... lol So no matter what you all do, JSU is not affected. JSU is only affected by the decisions made by JSU. I dont care who you beat or who you lose to. Im only concerned with JSU putting you back in your place.

I don't think jsu will ever be head and shoulders above PV anytime soon if at all....
