UAPB: Any Coaching Updates?

@Tigerpride

For me, it was and never will be an issue of investment. I'll continue to give (according to Scripture) and will always support my UAPB. I don't know a lot about business/finance, but regarding "investments", I do know there comes a time when you'd like to see SOME type of benefit from your investment. And I do know that people will soon STOP putting their money (or never begin) toward what they believe is a "bad" investment.

I didnt mean "you". LOL I meant the university. Sorry for the confusion!

Losing your OC and DC at same time will likely be detrimental to the team for 2018. How is that a blessing? You may not love Kaiss, but his numbers don't lie. Alcorn has won or played for the championship 4 years in a row. Three years while Kaiss has led the offense. Don't get too high in the pants and end up like Jasson Steak.

Thats because JSU and ASU were non-factors. I wonder how the EAST/SWAC would have looked if Comegy and Barlow were never fired.

It's not high in the pants but at the same time the said OC hurt us a lot. A lot. A lot of times talent can cover a lot of things on a team.

Kaiss has never been good but you all about to sink to the lowest levels. Comegy might make a good DC tho... ijs

@96lioness , your comment to the booster seems to me as a negative and will have a negative impact on him giving in the future. It can never help your or any of our universities when we find reasons not to give and/or try to convince others not to give.

if a booster gave $10K, I think he good for the future! lol

I agree... Because when i read what he said to the booster, " How's it working out for you" i said to myself is this cat series?!! Some things you should keep to yourself.

Your opinions are respectfully noted. But I know both people I referred to very well and nothing I could ever say would dissuade them from giving to our school. Both have been giving to UAPB/AM&N since I was knee-high to an ant & will continue to give (as I will). My comment wasn't meant to dissuade them from giving; it was to get them to
wake up & take a better look at the people who continuously ask them to give toward our athletics but don't invest their money in the program.

In this case you are correct! Both of these men are retired Veterans, and one was a former supervisor in the lab where I work (VA). They don't have the same financial "concerns" as me.

If Barlow was never fired, Kaiss would be the OC at Bama State. And... hopefully, we would hve won the EAST at least once, but..... We could have also been in APR hell.
