UAPB: Any Coaching Updates?

Our Administration does not give two-cents about the athletic program if they did we would have fired this sorry axx AD a long time ago. We continue to allow him to sink our program lower than the lowest parts of the SWAC. We used to be in the middle of the SWAC West but the last 10 years we have had 2 winning seasons and they can't seem to get their heads out of their *&&#$. But nevertheless we're supposed to support something financially that they don't give a rat's axx about. Wakeup UAPB Administration!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You sound almost like us lol

Wish they would have got in the front of him with that live view. Couldn't hear a word they were saying.

You still trying to get that monkey off your back...

Are you still taking his phone calls?
We laugh at the Johnnie Cole references - but there are so many coaches get 2nd and third chances - (cough) petrino (motorcycle crash w/ side chick ) mike leach (locked Craig james son in a closet) ole miss new head man (was there in Oxford on staff) during violations even Henry Frazier (domestic abuse charges) Jerry kill ( seizures in the field, serious health issues) Lane Kiffin (u name it) Pete Carroll ( usc violations) Steve sarkasian (drunk at student body pep rally) expect these names to return soon art briles, Hugh freeze, jay paterno and hell Jimbo Fisher paid 1.5million to Louisiana Monroe to keep his FSU bowl streak alive (cmon)

Heard he is brining the OC from Alcorn with him. I surely hope the good lord will bless us and that is true.
Losing your OC and DC at same time will likely be detrimental to the team for 2018. How is that a blessing? You may not love Kaiss, but his numbers don't lie. Alcorn has won or played for the championship 4 years in a row. Three years while Kaiss has led the offense. Don't get too high in the pants and end up like Jasson Steak.

@Tigerpride

For me, it was and never will be an issue of investment. I'll continue to give (according to Scripture) and will always support my UAPB. I don't know a lot about business/finance, but regarding "investments", I do know there comes a time when you'd like to see SOME type of benefit from your investment. And I do know that people will soon STOP putting their money (or never begin) toward what they believe is a "bad" investment.

When we had the campaign (about this time last year) to raise money to get the allotment of schollies back for the "money" games, a couple in our Chapter donated $15,000; another couple donated $10, 000, and another couple donated $7000. Now this was BEFORE the (2017) season started, before the year even started. At the UAPB/TXSU game, I was sitting next to one of the "big money Johnnie's" and I asked him, "So, you shelled out 10 grand for the team. How'd that work out for you?". He couldn't say a word. I patted him on the back and said, "Well look on the bright side. At least you can write this off on your taxes". He gave me a look that clearly said, "You b!t@h".

It's not high in the pants but at the same time the said OC hurt us a lot. A lot. A lot of times talent can cover a lot of things on a team.

I agree that talent can cover a lot of things. Who identified, recruited and kept that talent though? Remember, Kaiss was OC at Bama State, I know him well. Some things I loved about his coaching and some things I disagreed with, but his numbers were always near or at the top in the SWAC.

@96lioness , your comment to the booster seems to me as a negative and will have a negative impact on him giving in the future. It can never help your or any of our universities when we find reasons not to give and/or try to convince others not to give.
