Looks like Tenn is going to try to get Brohm out of Purdue only after one year of getting there. But he did a good job. This opens the door for SUMLIN to go home to his Alma Mater at Purdue. Works out for both Tenn and Purdue. The Purdue boosters wanted Sumlin last year but Texas A&M didn't fire him like they thought. LOL.
 



Purdue University football coach Jeff Brohm was at Christian County High School today to visit 2018 commit Cory Trice. According to Trice, Brohm said he’s not leaving the Boilermakers for Tennessee.

Tenn botched the deal. It was in place. But the buyout clause was not approved by Tenn Chancellor and they took a less profitable deal back to Brohm and his agent. And Brohm was like fugg that. I can stay at Purdue. Tenn is killing themselves. Now they are trying to steal NC State Coach.

UTEP: Sources tell FootballScoop that Sam Houston State (FCS – TX) head coach K.C. Keeler is a candidate for the head coaching opening at UTEP. Keeler is 44-11 leading the Bearkats since 2014, and prior to that was the head coach at Delaware, where he went 85-52 with a national title in 2003, and two more appearances in the FCS national title game with the Blue Hens (2007 and 2010). Keeler currently has the program in the FCS playoffs and is 10-1. If Keeler is the choice for UTEP, this could be a real life Nuclear Winter scenario; however we would not expect Keeler to formally interview or make any decisions before Sam Houston’s playoff run is over.
