I believe Donna got tired of kissing up to those rich elitist entitled White woman who are clueless on real issues. A real sista can only hold back for so long. Donna grew up in the New Orleans area.

I agree.

That takes a toll on a black person's psyche after a while. Especially if she has REAL black folk who DGAF about white people in her family. Sometimes the person who makes the most sense is that uneducated person who tells you "man your smart ass keep running up behind them white folks. They don't mean you no good. You better than that."

I bet she went home and said to herself "why the hell am I subjecting myself to this bullshit."

I personally met one of Donna's aunts and just from what came out of that woman's mouth, I'm sure many of times Donna held back from cursing out one of those elitist White women in the DNC. And you know sistas in New Orleans will not hesitate to say something like, "those rich b!tches think their pu$$ies don't stink."

I think that's what it is...she took the "white way" of exposing them. Honestly, is she came to Dillard, Xavier, SU, or GSU for a professorship they would make a department for her.

The problem with Southern and Grambling, they are both still somewhat being controlled by entitled Black folks who were strong Mary Landrieu supporters, but due to some pressure from its student body, Faculty Senate, and alumni, I have seen a slight shift at Southern, especially during that Dumas incident. SU's President Ray Belton knows he is being watched closely.
