how many of "us" have legitimate access to that group or in some cases and I hope its not true, do they even acknowledge us since their in that social circle? this ain't that movie How High..lol

Yeah that problem is the Prison system (see 13th the documentary). I'd put Prison reform up there with Jim Crow reform. If that's not specific enough I don't know what is....

I left out that point in my OP. Two IVY League parents with all that exposure to the DC and political circles. Their lives were planned out as soon as Obama became president and Spelman wasn't gonna be any part of it (since they were the ones that were most vocal)

It happens when one isolates themselves. It's way too easy in today's integrated-segregated society, especially the more segregated suburban environments that are predominantly euro-anglo.

Yeah, I am guilty of this thinking back. I smashed a good number of white girls before I left for college. Knew I would never marry one though

It's funny how repetitious this scenario is. Growing up in one of those integrated-isolated environments one's options are quite limited but never choosing to marry, for the most part.

I'm just hoping this kind of negative attention wakes her up. But, teenagers and really young adults ain't trying listen to no old folks.
