That big raggedy stadium is all Jackson have so I guess I see why you think it's the best! Lmao
#like20yearsbehindtime

So what do you call playing at Home Depot? Atleast we own it and it's OURS. Y'all ain't even caught up to the other smalltime schools in the SWAC yet. Po tessas suthen.

Coach Haywood and staff are doing great things for increasing sTu football. Cannot hate on that and I have to yield respect.

Playing in a state of the art stadium for 1.5 Million for 30 years + game day expenses is a smart move to me. In addition we get a % of the parking, beer & food sales.

At the end of the day it is about the bottom line.

I don't understand why you all respond to the deal you have in place. For the situation sTu is in (land-locked), it's a great solution. ANYTHING but "nrg stadium" is a great solution lol, though I'm sure all would rather have an on-campus venue.

Boise State transfer and they have the North Texas transfer at WR.

Oh, I know. Folks think it's a game, but my G-Men are loading up on ammo for a Louisiana-Texas war. Just like I told Alcorn folks when the hired Hopson, this coach knows what he has to do become a force in the SWAC before he moves on to a bigger deal. sTu is about to enjoy the ride.

That's why I'm nervous about PV's game #1. It would be foolish to think coach Haywood and staff are auditioning to simply compete IC. His is not the typical SWAC coaching staff.

I told y'all to be nervous last year and nobody wanted to listen. Lol.

Anyway, Haywood has the "it" factor and will make his presence known early. I won't shocked at a major breakthrough this year, but I am expecting sTu to be a force in 2018.

The 2 Teams SU struggled with last year to me were TSU and JSU

TSU brought it to us, physically. I was impressed.

I hope our team plays up when we play them. I've seen flashes of how scary they can/could/would be.

I'm not one of those who didn't listen. I KNEW what coach Haywood would bring to the SWAC and that it wouldn't take him and his staff long to get there. Those who couldn't see this coming are not college football purists, imho. He's a proven recruiter and obviously has a resume' that backs him up as being able to coach-up his student-athletes. PITT didn't offer him that HC'ing position, "just because."

When sTu plays PV, I EXPECT sTu to be 1-0.

Your cousins from the North Louisiana saw flashes as well.

Gotcha.

Pittsburgh ditched him before he could coach a game because of the domestic violence call. If he was white, we would have heard a good ole "let's find out the truth first" story.

Once Haywood goes off at sTu, he will get another FBS call. Rice, SMU or North Texas will all be watching him at sTu.

Lol

No shots, but didn't they have yall down 21-0 and knocked yall QB out? (I may be wrong)

Breh, when I saw them bring that pain to our QB and RB, I was like "yeah, they come to play" They aint scared of us.

I think that may have been the most physical team we've played that entire year. They bought that hat to us.

Yea Wrong, Now they did get up on us they made us take a test to see if we they daddy, and the test came back 99.9% we the Daddy. We was ahead by the 2nd Quarter and rested our QB, it was nothing to see in that game. And aint no way you didnt see more then Flashes against us. For a undefeated team coming into the Classic, yall folded like Towels fresh our the Dryer
