The SU Showcase Camp

Is it true LSU stood outside telling anyone from Texas to go home? Lol

Glad it worked out

That's what ESPN said: http://www.espn.com/college-footbal...-state-schools-away-louisiana-satellite-camps
"Paranoid Ed has kind of made it real plain that he was not going to allow any schools from outside of the state to come in there and look at their players," Mumme said. "He went around and did camps on their FCS campuses and wanted that to suffice. The problem with that is, of the 11 schools that play football in Louisiana, there's only one of them, Louisiana College, that's Division III. All the rest of them are D-I schools."

We're in LSU's backyard,” said Mike Roach, the coach at Madison Prep in Baton Rouge and the father of Texas player Malcolm Roach. “Louisiana home cooking may have played a part in it.” Roach, who initially tried to help facilitate the camp, declined to go into details on what LSU may have done to attempt to prevent the camp from being held at Memorial Stadium. But his comments proved to be prescient.

“I guess we let the optics of college football influence the ultimate goal, educating young men and exposing them to a better life,” Roach said in an interview on Tuesday. “The optics of college football has gotten in the way of what the mission of this thing is all about. I don't have any allegiance to anyone. I have an allegiance to these kids in my community.”

Well, the Texas coaches needs to ban together to keep that crawfish eating, Cajun slurred talking c**n out of Texas. If that happens LSU football would need to join the Sun Belt!

It's a reason Texas trying to get into the boot. Compare Texas and LSU draft pics lol. And the majority of those players that LSU had drafted are from the boot.

Varick, don't nobody give a damn about LSU or Louisiana when it comes to Texas. Y'all are just our little sister. Hell, 75% of y'all move to Dallas, Houston or Atlanta anyway.

Orgeron has no power on our side of town to interfere with our stuff. He would risk facing a huge political s--- storm if he tried to pull the mess he did with Texas and Belhaven. Notice how Texas Tech and TCU were at our camp with 0 interference.

Those ain't major factors in the grand scheme of things...tech is tech and TCU is good but not great. The thing is getting LA kids out the state to see other things.

Hmmmm

Get this: According to one report, after Texas Tech's Kliff Kingsbury and TCU coaches showed up Wednesday at a Southern University camp in Baton Rouge, Southern's coach, Dawson Odums, felt compelled to call LSU and explain that the invitations were mailed before Orgeron became head coach.

That's right keep their asses out Orgeron! LOL
