So many are making judgments based on a social media video clip. Journalist can you identify the Alcorn football players throwing blows? Can you provide CompuBox stats? It was a fight. My high school had fights and the Shop teacher paddled that ass and life went on. Has today's society gotten so sissyfied that we all want to see fist-fights result in prison time?

Nothing of this magnitude involving JSU students has ever happened on JSU's campus, and this in spite of the inner city surroundings. That alone speaks volumes of how we try and keep things under control. I highly doubt if something like this would ever happen twice within one day because the campus enforcement would've had sense enough to be on high alert after the first incident.
The gutter is where Alcorn's name is and it's now Alcorn's job to recover from it. The first step is admitting that there's a problem. Until that happens, Alcornites will be the lonely ones trying to justify two major brawls.

If that helps you sleep, keep believing it. Your campus enforcement folks should've been reprimanded as well for allowing such a melee to happen a second time. Somebody in that department dropped the ball.
