Southern will always be #1 but #2 will depend on where and how Prairie View is doing. That Texas Southern game may be becoming a big game if they keep progressing under the current coach which I think they will get better.

I would put Alcorn higher only because they really get up for Gram and have beat Gram, but PV can't seem to get out of their own way when it comes to Gram. Reminds me of the old days when Zina would beat everyone, but when she got to Martina no matter what she would do, write notes to herself and psych herself up she had a mental block playing that so called woman. I understand though because when she introduced me to her, that chick's forearms and strong grip would rival any LB in the SWAC LOL

I placed PV higher because they are in the same conference and that PV vs. GSU vs. SU vs.PV series damn near shapes up who the SWAC West Champion may be.

Yep that is true, but until we can get over the CHOKE factor in the SFC game, hard to say we make much impact LOL

TSU is the closest SWAC school, we play Grambling in our biggest football game, and Southern is probably our longest running conference foe. PV is so far removed from the East schools historically that its hard to rank them but I think JSU and Alcorn could be interchangeable at 5 and 6. There are old school Panthers who still hate Wiley (lol) so they would probably make the list before most of the east

4-6 have changed through the years. I put Texas Southern and PV ahead of ASU because of history & proximity. But When Southern was playing Alabama State in Mobile for the Gulf Coast Classic, the rivalry was really high.

*If FAMU was in the SWAC, then they could be #2 or #3.

If Tennessee State was in swac they definitely would take number 2 spot hands down. Also our number 3 & 4 spots rotate between Grambling and Valley since valley is an in state rival and definitely gear up to play jsu.

That's it lol AAMU and ASU bring OK amounts of fans outside of the top 3 so put them in the 3 spot for HC but everyone else is just eh for me or the average Valley fan
