It's just an earring, Hell I wore one my first year at A&M. Now I draw the line at an earring in each ear or even loops, but to piggyback off CEE, never mind the pimps and gangsters, go back into history to our ancestors so yeah it is nothing new.

He didn't say not recruit them. He said you have to be a father figure to them AFTER you recruit them to your program. He never said you should not recruit the kids.

Earrings aren't historically or inherently feminine though. Just like wigs, makeup and heeled shoes, all of those were firstworn by men.
