As quiet kept not a lot of us are going to see that film either because God is portrayed as a woman.
I remember one of my cousins leaving the church he had been at for a couple of decades after he found out the new preacher was a woman.
A picture of Jesus can be estimated by a historical look at the original people from the geographic area Jesus came from...the issue is much larger. If Jesus is the Son of God and you depict Jesus with European features then it would stand to reason that God is white/European.So true....
I know a pastor who took all the pictures of Jesus down in the church because he felt that it was a human depiction of how Jesus looked and no one can truly say this is how Jesus should look. There is a reason why there is no picture of Allah. Moreover, I think people seek out comfort in wanting to know that God looks like them.

There are pictures of Mohammed. Allah (Arabic) is the equivalent of Yaweh (Hebrew) and there are no pictures of either.
Here you go....I just stumbled upon this. Not saying it is 100% but it speaks to more of what I have found to be historically true.

I had not read it before but just from my study and biblical geography and just reasoning my thoughts align with those in the article. I have asked the questions for years as to how Jesus, Joseph and Mary hid in Egypt from Herod without being detected. If the European pictorials are true they would have stood out like a sore thumb.Yea I read this before.
Yikes!I would never be a member of a church with a female pastor as the head. It's not her place to lead.
I agree with Cee Dog.
That's one of the main problems of churches today. Too many people willing to accept anything going on in the church. Some things are simply out of order and some people have to be strong enough to take a stand.
