Was he the AD? That report listed infractions from just about every sport

btw, I see the reporter wasn't "small" enough to try to count every practice, every trip, every workout, every meal and every game by every athlete to come up with an artificial, extraordinary amount of separate "violations"

No I'm saying it could have happened in one of the non-championship seasons during that date range.

During the 2011-12 through 2014-15 academic years, 26 athletes in football, men’s basketball, baseball, men’s and women’s cross country, women’s soccer, softball, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s track and field and women’s volleyball teams competed despite not meeting percentage-toward-degree requirements. This led to them receiving travel expenses while ineligible and competing during future academic years with the school not having sought reinstatement.

Football could have done it in 2011, 2012 or 2013 instead of in 2014.
 
Looking at the story, if I'm looking at it right the football infractions occurred in 2011-12 which would be Spears year ..Hopson didn't get there until 2012-13

But I will be damned if I didn't call it for one of the small schools in MS. Once they hit Ole Piss with the violations one of the smaller schools in The Great State of Mississippi was gonna pay as well.

Doesn't say football only occurred in any single year, just that a number of sports had infractions between 2011-12 and 2014-15.

Any institution that may subsequently hire the affected head coaches shall similarly reflect the vacated wins in their career records documented in media guides and other publications cited above. Head coaches with vacated wins on their records may not count the vacated wins toward specific honors or victory "milestones" such as 100th, 200th or 500th career victories. Any public reference to the vacated contests shall be removed from the athletics department stationary, banners displayed in public areas and any other forum in which they may appear. Any trophies awarded by the NCAA in these sports shall be returned to the Association.

I got it MH. Unlike Josh Moon and the Montgomery Advertiser reported our infractions. It looks like Alcorn will keep their SWAC trophies since the footballl infractions occurred in 2012 and 2013.

You are correct. Does not affect championships. No post season bans or less practices
