If the count is based on scans the number is off. When I entered the stadium "The Event Staff" weren't scanning tickets. Just trying to get people in.
There was more than 20K outside.....
I didn't wanna' sound too unrealistic Fi.
I agree wholeheartedly. I told everybody there had to be AT LEAST 40K or so folks all around PVAMU.

Why wouldn't PV add temp bleachers for the HC game to accommodate the extra folks on campus?
PV is going to accomodate a whole lot more than temp bleachers when phase II of stadium construction ensues (hopefully) w/in the next few years. RP, the headliner, is really seriously making that push for phase II expansion.

Why? We done that in the past and it was extra ghetto. I hated it! If they really wanted more people to attend they could've had the SRO crowd in the South endzone on the grassy hill.

Everyone is a Panther during PV's homecoming! Its an event and experience like no other in Texas. People come from all over regardless of their affiliation. We have the space to accommodate the large amount of tailgaters and visitors. We just need to work on traffic control, lol. Personally I wouldn't be mad if the LDC moved to PV permanently once phase II is complete. This past Labor Day Classic was the best one that I've attended (since 95).
+1. During Fi's and my grey-bearded azz days @ PVAMU, PVAMU was the center of black Texas life. Centrally located between the ~1.8-2.5 hr drive ut-austin/San Antonio/San Marcos corridors, 3-4hr Dallas/unt/tcu/twu/uta/utd/PQ/nctc lol corridors, 3hr baylor/Waco coridors, 50 minute aTm-b/cs-Bryan/College Stat corridors, 1 hour Houston/sTu/uofh/rice/San Jac lol corridors, 2.2 hr Beaumont/lamar corridors, ~2.0 hr Nacogdoches/sfa corridors, and 1.15 hr Huntsville/shsu corridors. All of them represented @ PVAMU during our time there and I saw that same type of overflowing capacity this past homecoming. It's nice to see it returning to the way it was. Next year it is going to be bigger and better. I'm PERSONALLY making sure that my diverse family represents in full-force. We're gonna' take over half the campus.
