The only thing that means is it would've been 1st and goal instead of a TD.

Yeah cheated is a stretch horribly incompetent yes. We all know there are miss calls during all games which is why I don't even complain about calls that are judgment calls like holding, pass interference etc.

This screw up was just so monumental you can't help but call it out.

I saw the replay of the game yesterday. It was a HORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIBLE call. smh My goodness that ref is gonna' catch hell today. Broach was standing out of the bounds w/ the rest of us when he came back to touch the ball. Dannnnnnnnnng!!!!!! smh

Wizzo, who made the bad call, came all up in the stands w/ us after the game was over talkin' 'bout... "where da' licka' dawgggggggggg?! It's time to set my homecoming owt!!!!" lol :D I told him he was supposed to go take his stripes off w/ the rest of the crew in that little room under the admin bldg on the north end of the field and he said "hellsssss naw! It's time tah set my homecoming owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwt!!!!" :D My boy. :D

Jags, I hope my boy gets to make up for the bad call and refs the game between SU and PVU. :D

I finally watched the game.. Lol! That's exactly what crossed my mind... I said this fool must've been trying to get to homecoming! Lol!!

Question...isn't there a rule where if a player is out of bounds he can't be the first to touch the ball once he's back in the field of play? If the left foot is out of bounds as seen here and he doesn't have possession yet, he can't recover unless the ball made contact with another player. Just askin'.

He fumbled the ball if I remember correctly. It was not a pass play where he ran out of bounds and then came back in to catch the pass. He was trying to recover a fumble and he was standing out of bounds which should have made it a dead ball where he touched it.
