You're from TXSo where Folks don't show up period. So we understand why you'd think that. Nobody cares about your brand or your program. Which is Why you can't paint your schools name, colors or logo on your rented soccer, I mean football field.

It was your home Game. More folks gotta show up.
Your band has to be entertaining enough to make the locals, students, and area high school band kids want to be there. And #1 your brand has to carry enough weight to get a decent amount of butts in the seats regardless if you're sorry or good.

Folks gone show up (travel from far & near) to see the boom PERIOD!
And if our football team is sorry as hell, we still pulling at least 12-15k UNDERCOUNTED loyal fans/locals lol without a visiting band and fans.

That's funny. SU had a really nice crowd. Not saying we had more but it was 60%aamu 40% SU. For a school 7.5 hours away and just went thru a natural disaster, I would say we did really well. You shouldn't count on a away team to fill your stadium anyway lol.

Huntsville is not like Jackson ..we don't have the luxury of living in an all black city where the only thing good to do is go to a Jackson St game on a Saturday. It has nothing to do with bands being entertainment it sounds like your making snide comments towards the band for some reason when people around the hbcu world say they sound good lol the culture of Jackson and Huntsville are two entirely different things. Many people didn't show up yesterday because they're ready for spady and the ad to leave. Please know the dynamics before you say anything concerning attendance with Aamu.

He's not even from AAMU don't quote him. No one up here was counting on Southern to fill up the stadium. We all knew no one would be at the game..just go to the smack board where PQUE was trying to sell his seats. Spady is on the hotseat and people want a change with the AD

Dont quote him he's not from aamu..... no one was counting on su to fill the stafium. Their is a boycott currently going on up here with the AD

you trying to compare the city of Jackson to Huntsville lol

really it's nothing to do on a Saturday but congregate to a jsu game. That's the meeting place for black people on a Saturday night . It's always been that way. Jackson is a predominately black city by a large margin unlike Huntsville.

Dude, how long has AAMU been boycotting? That attendance number has been about the average for the past decade. Ain't got nadda to do with no Spady.
I betcha MD was there.:snicker:
 
FAMU had 20K last night and they've been bad for quite some time, apparently the locals have bought in and stayed engaged but that doesn't seem to happen in majority of our schools now
