Fall 2k16 Numbers Prediction

"Y'all" wasn't doing anything lol. I'm fine with whatever size the boom is from 100-400. We gone handle business regardless so I don't care about numbers lol. Mad? HA. Keep wishing buddy.
At the end of the day, even with the booms size now and the cuts they are currently 220-240 and still one of the largest in the swac and sound great as you heard from clips of the merge. Brass sections stayed intact, only big losses were mostly percussion and woodwinds. Still have about 140 straight brass so the power is still there. Better than ever!

Tell'em again fam. When you have a band as great as ours, you never have to worry about anything. We'll always come out on top no matter what. Must suck not knowing how greatness feels lol.

You seem mad...yall was the one bragging on yo size...

LOL ... ATLBrave you are exactly right. At one time, Jackson State was bragging on all the sites about how big the Boom was going to be and how everybody was trying to be like you. Now, there's this budget cut thing and ya'll being extra sensitive. Be straight up ... were the recruitment numbers there like you wanted?

I counted 198 excluding the dm and jsettes, which would still have us as second largest in the SWAC. Pv has 188 and Bama has 166.

Jackson state

This group is by far financially equipped to maintain a 350 member band and will be in the 320 range this upcoming season. They showed out at honda, and kept recruiting efforts up with auditions in Chicago, Detroit, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, and southeast Texas. Adjustments are being made to accommodate a competitive number on the field , but hopefully they will be consistent, and rumor is the trumpets have matured from last years freshman plagued group so expect jsu to still be the biggest essemble in the swac. Please note jsu will not travel 320 for away games and in the first 3 games will travel in the 200s for budget restrictions they'll have and space.

Size: 320 (about same size from last year)

Exactly, a lie don't care who tell it.

I'd be mad too if I didn't attend JSU lol. Just wait on it, y'all will see what greatness looks and sounds like soon. Keep watching, we won't disappoint. ;)
