The Minnesota campus is beautiful. I liked the fact there's a pedestrian/bike bridge atop the Washington Street bridge to link the West and East bank campuses. I was geeked over mid-July temps in the low 80s. The the light rail takes you from the Airport to downtown and you switch lines to go to the campus. Didn't Minneapolis-St. Paul try to get an Olympic bid years ago? With all that Fortune 500 money they got up there and the weather, I'd give them a bid with the quickness.

But it doesn't beat seeing the sun go down and the reflection of the light hitting the river from Scott's Bluff.

Yeah they tried to get the Olympics. The Twin Cities is nice. One of the reasons I kept my townhome/brownstone there. People be sleeping on that city. They have 17-18 Fortune 500 HQs in the area.

Man. My only visit to MSP was the first week of April back in like 2008. The rep for the company I was visiting made this comment at lunchtime:

It's WARM out. We can walk to lunch." It was 33 degrees and there was still snow on the ground. LOL
 
I went to Minnesota to visit a old girlfriend around 3-4 years ago. I went in February lol. It was in the 20's, teens, most of the time I was there. But that last day -15 lol. I have never been that cold ever in my life. I couldn't take that shat over a extended period of time lol.

Soon as I got to the hotel, I called my wife and told her if we won Powerball we'd summer up in the Twin Cities. Love the summer weather up there. Really impressed with their mass transit infrastructure. Didn't get a chance to go to St. Paul, but I did get to walk around downtown by First Avenue and Target Center.

Help me out are you mad? No smack intended. I thought the video was damn amazing. I mean to imagine you bringing in recruits and this is the first video they see. No students, no players.

Yet, before watching the video get a fine sister to come in and tell the players to close their eyes. Then she goes in to a story of telling them how beautiful Southern life is. Basically putting them in a trance....then when she tells them to open their eyes. The lights go out and they start playing this video. Then when the video ends show a 90 second video of the Dancing Dolls shaking their ass. Hell I would sign right then and there.
