He also told us they sold them in Macy's, Saks 5th Avenue, in China Town in NYC, on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, and in the lobby at the Grammy awards....
 



Is that a replica...or just some BS that Russell put in the store?

Because Wal-Mart sells generic FAMU and FSU jersey's in Tallahassee...as a matter of fact, I believe the generic FSU jersey's are also made by Russell...I'll try to get a pic a confirm that

LOL. I noticed that too but didn't want to say anything because I ain't want nobody thinking I was trying to smack but yea that jersey is kinda trash. Atleast they're selling something with SU on it. Seriously.

Russell has always had a
Entire line of SU products( jerseys , T-shirts, basketball shorts, coaches shirts, etc) in Walmart since I could remember. Folks in here were saying they didn't sell Jerseys. I told them they sold them in Walmart. They said I was lying. I wouldn't buy the Jerseys, but it's a very affordable option, $26.00, for those that don't want to spend a lot of money on jerseys. I have bought plenty of Russell SU T shirts, coaches shirts, and basketball shorts from Walmart.

This is a reply to those that said Russell didn't sell Jerseys, the quality never came into play. I would expect them to have SU and Famu jerseys since we are the two schools that sells the most HBCU gear.

No slight on SU but that sucks and if Walmart made that for my school I would say the same thing.

That's one of those jerseys when you live out of town and headed to the game but have no gear so you run into the store and grab the first thing you see.

True...one of my gripe with Russell is that I could never find a replica jersey for FAMU. I believe Nike is gonna allow us to purchase replica jerseys this season(we still haven't made uniform reveal yet).

I've heard rumblings of that happening, but nothing for certain.

Russell had real Gameday Jersey's for the Bayou Classic one year. Also Russell sales the plain Jerseys. A couple of venders in BR can make the jerseys identical to what SU wears. I have a couple of game day jerseys.

The Jersey may not be the best, but their other items(t-shirts, polos, shorts) are pretty good.

Exactly. Being that SU's merchandise sales are the best in the conference, instead of criticizing, they should be trying to get Russell to make their school jerseys so they can get their numbers up. Speaking of that, Walmart in Baker, has a fully stocked with merchandise. It won't be there long lol.

SU has an almost cult-like following. During the heyday of the 1990s, there was no denying that SU's fanbase was number 1.
