Pete's the ONLY su coach worth respecting. Other than that, su is nothing home to write about. It's about time for a change at su. Odom's just who we thought he was.

AW Mumford and Marino Casem are in the NCAA Hall of Fame.

Dude's been head coach at other places. You don't listen too well. Evidently, he didn't want to coach anywhere else until now. He's helped MSU field one of the best teams in the nation and in the SEC. Can you say that about McNair? Like I said, there's a reason you didn't want him coaching in the first place.:snicker: You'll see though.....real soon.

Dude, Mumford coached during the leather helmet days and Marino did his damage at Alcorn. He was known for being an AD at su, not a football coach.
Come on mane, research your football history, what little noticeable history there is. Pete's the best coach su has ever had.

You should be aware of his coaching ability because that same Mississippi State defense and team beat the hell out of Alcorn last time they played.

For MS State, they have been doing great the last 3-4 years. Even had an Orange Bowl appearance. They got that azz tapped by GaTech but they still went..... and you know all about a GaTech azz whoopin!

JSU has 3 SWAC titles , 6 EAST division titles, playoff appearances, top 25 appearances, and 15 winning seasons in the last 20 years.

2 championships. 1996 - 2016 = 20 years. You won the East (played in the SCG) 4 total times.
