Can't Beat Em Join Em....Kevin Durant

Warriors will not be in the finals next year.

I think the Warriors did this because they k ow something about Steph Curry's legs that we don't.

Replace 2 role players(at best) with one of the top 3 players in the league and you're worried?

The splash brothers, great as they are, make their living on shots that at best have a 40% chance of going in. If one or both go cold for an extended stretch(very possible at the end of a long season) the Warriors go from all-time great to just really good. The Cavs wouldve won game 7 in a blowout if not for Draymond having a career shooting game.

Add a guy like Kevin Durant and you can ride through those stretches.

They couldn't win one game without Andrew Bogut?

Apparently not. Given his offensive shortcomings he was a decent defensive player. Once he was injured it was almost as if Moses parted the red sea. Kyrie was shaking and baking going straight to the paint and Lebron was.......Lebron.

I guess Them 3's better be falling for at least 4 of 7 games. Who will rebound when Green is on the bench? I already thought they asked Green to do to much, now they gonna kill him before the playoffs start.

Yep sooner or later the well will run dry. They gonna have to have some type of inside game.

And it was obvious once he went down. He was a serviceable NBA center for what they needed. I thought game 5 was an anomaly but when Lebron was going to the hole at will in Game 6 I said they would win Game 7 because Steph only showed up 2 out of the 7 games plus as a jump shooting team sooner or later it catches up with you and it caught up with them games 5-7

They will need to find someone similar to Draymond to back him up because they won't make it to the Finals if he plays big minutes. Plus Durant in OKC came up small a lot in crunch time with turnovers and missed shots i.e. games 5-7 against GS

This will be the Lakers with Karl Malone and Gary Payton all over again.

The main players on that 2004 LA team only started 20 games together. And Malone got hurt in the postseason.

Well all you have to do is sneeze on Curry and he disappears. I have a feeling the Warriors will not be in the finals next year. Without that depth they're strong but not as good. Don't be surprised if San Antonio or the Clippers knock them off.

The Clippers?

*chase down LeBron blocks post into the fifth row*

Again....they Warriors know something we don't. Why risk so much. I understand Durrant will help but this is a heavy risk for a team that quite frankly could do without him if necessary.

The issue is can Kerr actually coach them. I think losing Walton will affect them as well.

1a. Warriors
1b. Spurs
3. Clippers
4. Grizzlies vs Cavs

If Duncan retires as expected, the Spurs will almost be through with their transition from the old 3 to the new big 2 (Ginobli will be a role player like Duncan was when the playoffs hit. Parker will be the last one left)

I just don't trust the Clippers. The Grizzlies will be back intact and will be better than the Blazers IMO

Exactly. It's stupid to break up a 73 win team to go for one guy. I guess we gotta wait and see.

The Spurs just signed Gasol. He still has gas left in the tank and Pop will have them on point.
