Well any city only gets so much based on sales taxes and permits. If the MCC generates a particular economic impact (I've seen the number reported at $25M or so), the vast majority of that impact is received by the businesses, not the city itself. The city just gets the sales taxes off the sales, plus the amount of any permits they required. So basically the city itself may see $1-2M at most.Now you get it!!! Neither school is getting that and the City and the Promoters are living large on our game.
