No it wasn't. Austin Howard was not recruited by Chad. Neither was Quinn or Menard. Tillery either. Chad didn't do anymore than Eric Dooley was doing recruiting. We have always had Qbs and WRs. The only difference is the RUN game now. That's all on Berry and his influence and teaching of the OL.

Chennis Berry has been the CO-Offensive Coordinator the last 3 years. So what's different outside of Chad not being there? Coach Berry aint new to the players. LOL.

They will be motivated to win the SWAC. They aint banned from Houston last time I checked.

Actually Austin was a Chad recruit no matter who try's to take credit for him... So was Tillery!

Dray took that credit from my understanding since it was his homeboy from the same HS. Tillery I don't consider anyone's recruit since he walked on.
 
I've never gotten an answer from su peeps on what exactly berry did as co oc. A jag stated on here before chad left that he (chad ) came up with game plan, called majority of plays and developed qbs. What did the other guy do?!

The other guy is the reason we can run the ball. Before Berry showed up. All we could do is PASS the ball. He developed the OL that keeps our QB upright and opens up those holes that Tillery runs through. I think we gave up the least amount of sacks in the conference the last few years. If you remember Stump thought he could come and in and immediately run the ball with the personnel that Pete had left him. We quickly found out we better pass the ball to even stay halfway on the field.

Bottom line is Berry was Big Worm's guy. Chad wasn't. Worm paid Berry more money and that pissed Chad off. I also think Worm had a better relationship with Odums than Chad.

I don't know why folks are so worried about Chad. We passed the ball well before Chad. We have always been able to PASS the ball. Chad did a good job. I still thought Dooley was a better coach than him. Folks will learn if you can RUN the ball, the pass becomes easier. I like our balance. If anything Chad got to pass happy at times when we were running the rock consistently. Berry will probably be more run oriented. But we were last season as well. Which opens up the pass game.

Your last four sentences contradict each other but thanks for semi answering lol
 
Basically we will both run the same system. With co-offensive coordinators there is no telling who called the plays etc as it was a combination of both individuals input. One may prefer to run the ball more in situations while the other may prefer to pass the ball more. Either way the system will be the same with wrinkles here and there (terminology will be different). We ran the ball this spring so I don't see that changing plus our OL coach has also been the run game coordinator at a few schools. Looking forward to the season
