In business there is no such thing as honesty and fairness. When I was in my twenties in college I use to hang out with these older dudes who were millionaire's. This old white guy once told me and now that I'm older I understand what he meant, but at a young age I didn't. He told me that when it comes to business those who have no heart make it to the top. Those who have feelings work for those who don't. It may seem cruel but most upper management at all companies screwed something or somebody to get there. Even if that was their families, friends and love ones. Somebody got the short end of the stick.
