I actually watched the Republican Town Hall, and he was clearly better than Trump and Cruz in answering questions and detailing plans to fix certain issues brought up. Is there a particular reason why he isn't getting the votes?
The Republican Party has moved too far to the right, which was a dangerous game they started playing when they elected Reagan. Also, that is the main reason why Donald Trump is their leading candidate. I do believe the establishment in the Republican Party will try to bring the party more back to the center. IMO, the leak about Nixon and his concocted War on Drugs to demonize Black people was their first attempt to move the party back to the center. I'm thinking they are about to throw Nixon's legacy more under the bus. During the next eight years with the Democrats in the White House, the Republicans will be calling for them to do more to reverse the racist policies Nixon started, although some of those policies were created by Reagan and Bush, but they are not about to throw their hero (Reagan) under the bus. Their tactics will sway some moderate Black folks to vote for someone like Governor Kasich and place all those racists White Republicans/Tea Party people on an island by themselves, which is similar to what the Democrats did to the Dixiecrats. The Dixiecrats and the Tea Party people are basically the same people, just in a different party. It will be interesting to see how the Republicans will fix their crazy far right party in the next 4 to 8 years. Right now, Black people are trying to deal with the emotional effects of Nixon's War on Drugs and they are not trying to see the bigger picture. Black people should be pushing the Congressional Black Caucus for more legislation to fund programs to combat the Republican's four to five decades of War on Drugs, particularly in Black communities where it was targeted.
The CBC is about as useful to black people as the NAACP is right now. They need to be on an island as well (or replaced altogether)
He is not pushing hatred. Donald Trump actually has his dumb scared followers believing he is going to turn America back to the Jim Crow days. These hicks really believe every program designated to help the poor and minorities will get done away with and the good white man will rule and say what he feels to the colored folks.

He is the typical CAC. He defunded planned parenthood for the tea party. Just another hidden racist.I like Kasich. He seems reasonable. Buddy ain't got a chance though.
What's that mean?He is the typical CAC. He defunded planned parenthood for the tea party. Just another hidden racist.
Now, I don't have anything against Planned Parenthood and can't say Kasic isn't racist or not but I don't think defunding Planned parenthood is necessarily a race issue. All the women I have seen on tv fighting for planned parenthood have been white. He is the typical CAC. He defunded planned parenthood for the tea party. Just another hidden racist.
