Jackson State will have one of the best groups of returning football players in the country, a top ranked recruiting class, a five-home game schedule and a new coaching era highlight what promises to be a memorable football season at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium this season.

JSU Athletics is bringing back its Family and Friends Package, which consists of four general admission tickets for only $220, for the 2016 season. Other season ticket prices are as follows: General Admission ($65), Reserved Seats ($130) and Box Seats ($200).

JSU will suspend its 5 years and under get in free promotion. Everyone entering JSU home games must have purchased a ticket. For more information contact the JSU Athletics Ticket Office at 601-979-2420.

2016 JSU football season tickets sale ends Sept. 16 at 5 p.m.

2016 Football Season Ticket Price Breakdown

Family and Friends Package: $220 (4 general admission tickets)
Box Seats: $200
Reserved Seats: $130
General Admission: $65

How does that work? I can see making sure everyone in a vehicle has a ticket but all they gonna do is drop err body off by Murrah and let them walk to the tailgate spot. LOL They can't stop that.

Anybody driving in the stadium should purchase a ticket... even if they don't go in the game. Which means doubling the parking price.

It's probably to discourage five and under cause it could be a liability. Kids getting lost, kids seeing grown folks drinking, cussin', screaming, etc.
Who brings five and under to football games to begin with in a crowd of 20-30,000 folks? They should be at somebody's daycare.

But tailgaters pay a fee. I am sure a majority of the tailgaters have season tickets or game tickets if they are tailgating based on the game.

If that was the case. No need to get rid of it. Not saying it is a deal breaker. But I started going to JSU games with my old man at 4 years old. A lot of us kids did back in the day. Just saying.

I attended games at a young age too. I do know that folks be losing children left and right at the JSU games when we play them in Jackson. I still watch this band clip where we start playing right as they're announcing that 2 children are missing in the stadium. lol

LMAO!!!

Man that was my highlight of going to the games at age 5. Seeing my dad and his Army buddies getting it in!!! Then those old cats drinking liqour and eating peanuts. Then those other older cats watching halftime with binoculors(sp). Man that was the life!!!!

How about parents be parents and manage their children...but that's too much like right.

I used to love going to the games and my dad putting me on his shoulders after the game. I had a ball but he did that to keep me from getting lost.
