Could we have a SWAC vs. MEAC Play-In Game?

BS is BS....How can any HBCU criticize another HBCU when the HBCU being critical wasn't even the SWAC Regular Season Champions? A SWAC Regular Season Champion has a larger body of work to prove they are a Champion.

I just do not see the logic in that.

Bluedog you missing the dumbest part of BH argument. He want the two HBCUs to play each other and knock the other one out. But when you put up the realistic situation of Hampton playing UV he says its not supporting the other HBCU. Wtf? He would rather an HBCU eliminate the other than have a chance to shock someone.
Damn why did I even entertain BH?

And yet selfishly, you missed the part where I said if the SWAC Team would have scheduled more MEAC Teams as Non-Conference Teams, we could have possibly been a #15 Seed while avoiding the Play-In. But if it was SU vs. Hampton in the Play-In, would have been Good for the HBCU Market.

Competition Breeds Improvement. Our Braves may learn that lesson the hard way in Florida this Fall because you go play on another HBCUs Campus. I Love It. Competition is Beautiful.

Like a horse with blinders on you just don't see what's going on around you. If we play people on our level in basketball it breeds nothing. No higher seeds because guess what, we are on the same level. You must upset a school or two in a bigger conference to get a higher RPI to go along with a good record to get better than a 16 seed.

Virginia's offense isn't all that explosive. There are plenty experts who don't even agree that they should be a #1. Yes the are strong and will be hell for Hampton, but a closer game than most expect is far from out of the question.

I do expect Hampton to come in hyped because they are playing Virginia.

Who said anything about the JSU game? JSU played great defense. Couple that with out tendency to not be able to finish strong under the basket at times. We got to do better. Especially against an equally or more aggressive team.
 
Southern will beat Holy Cross by 10 Plus. They run a Princeton Style offense with a lot of backdoor action, that is my only concern. But I am rolling with the Jags!

It was there. Teams adjusted, instead of making adjustments, Banks waited until the tournament. The tournament is the most important time, for a one bid conference.

Being at the tournament, I think it was more of the fact that J-State's length on the defensive end bothered us on the wing some. Both teams knew each other, so there weren't any secrets.
It was a much tighter game, not because of fatigue but the stakes involved with the the game.
Collins did a great job defensively on Adrian Rodgers. Rodgers was 1-8 from the field until that last tip-in for the win.

I'm not going to give credence to the "tired legs" idea. Everyone's hurt and tired at the end of a tournament.

I have saw SU all season. Been to all the home games, plus road games at TSU, SLU, LaTech, Alcorn, jSU, and Swac Tournament. A-Rod is know to do that lol. He will either be off the first half and kill you the 2nd half, or put up 27 the first half like he did vs jSU and then
Score nothing the 2nd half. I saw him vs jSU 3 times. The length sure didn't bother him the first two games lol.
