the most hated college football team in America

Alabama. Ohio State. Notre Dame. Maybe LSU and Michigan but those first three are almost universal

Duke basketball is on that level as well.

Bama, tOSU, and Notre Dame have 37 National Football Championships between the 3 schools. That's enough to be hated. Not to mention how many times they probably played in a game that decided who won the title.

That poll is skewed. Anytime coalitions form to hate your school, then you know you're hated. But it is a relief to know OSU is #1 in that poll. Cause if you're not hated, then you're not doing something right.

JR, renewal of the Fam and SU series should be a priority. I was shocked at the consecutive years this game was played before it ended. Icon Gram should be back in NY as we had at least a 30 year run too.

I agree. We had signed a new deal after Pete and the Billy Joe feud ended. LOL. But the MEAC was adding teams and it got in the way of scheduling. So we still had 3 games left on a 4 year deal I believe. We have been lucky to play them 3 times in a Classic but that is it. That game was one of the longest out of conference rivalry games at the HBCU 1-AA/FCS level.

Now that the 7 game mandate will be in effect. I hope SU and FAMU can start playing each other. HOME AND HOME. No classic. Like we used to do when I was in school. Was nothing like marching into Bragg Stadium being booed loudly. LOL. Those FAMU fans were hostile. I loved every minute of it. When we left they were singing a different tune.

I would've thought it was FSU the way people(mostly SEC fans) jump down my throat about the Noles

I know ESPN hates FSU

Southern vs. FAMU was, and probably still is, the longest running nonconference HBCU series.

I hope Southern vs. FAMU gets back on the schedule and stays on the schedule as a true home-and-home. When I was on the yard, we looked forward to that first Saturday in November to play them snakes.

LSU aint the most hated team. Sorry. Them LSU necks outnumber the SU fans or any other fans in the state. The hate is for Bama. And it's real.
Yep, Bama has been in the way of LSU for the past 6-7 yrs. LSU would've won a National Title within in that time if it weren't for Bama.

Sting,

A WHOLE LOT of MOFOS would've won a national championship within the last 6-7 years if it weren't for Bama . . . lol . . . not just LSU . . . and I do believe a whole lot of mofos will continue to miss out on national championships in the coming years, because of Bama. :D
